P4P's NEW Special Services at Home (SSAH) Overview and Resource Page
Check out P4P's NEW Special Services at Home (SSAH) Overview and Resource Page.
The Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) has updated the Special Services at Home (SSAH) guidelines. To present these updates and help families and caregivers learn more about the program, we're excited to share our new Resource Page and Overview Video to help families applying for SSAH.
The SSAH program is a reimbursement program for children with developmental or physical disabilities under the age of 18 that allows families and caregivers to determine what services and supports will support their child’s growth and development. SSAH recognizes that families know their loved ones best, so they can determine how these funds will be used.
The program is now aligned with the CanChild’s F-Words for Child Development! This allows families more flexibility to determine how to support their child’s interests in ways they believe can support their child’s development. It also allows families to focus on their child’s strengths and the things they enjoy doing!
For more information on the changes, and to learn more about how you can apply visit the P4P's SSAH Overview video and resource page.
Keep checking back to the SSAH Overview page as we develop more resources! A French Resource page and video will follow soon.
