Sawubona seeking support for a Grant writer
Hello all,
As Sawubona continues to grow, we realize our need for some more human resources. We are therefore putting out a call for someone to assist us with Grant finding and writing. We are seeking a VOLUNTEER to be a part of our Resource Development team, in other words, our fundraising team, to assist with finding and writing grants. Grant writing takes time and as well some expertise in knowing how to write to achieve success. AI (artificial intelligence) is increasingly being used in this area, but we still prefer the human touch. If you have this skill, interest and some extra time or you know of someone who can assist Sawubona, please reach out to us. This is a developing position and the time commitment is flexible and we can discuss what works best for you. We certainly do not want this to be overwhelming. And this may be great learning for the person who takes it on. The person assisting in this role does not necessarily need to be connected to disability but have a heart and desire to help out a small grass roots organization. Many of the grant opportunities we already know about but lack the time to get to them all and therefore could use some extra hands in this area.
