Want to help us learn how dementia screening programs are being implemented across Canada and understand the experiences of health and social service providers to use the NTG-Early Detection Screen for Dementia (NTG-EDSD)? Participate in our research survey!

We are a group of researchers at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) doing a study, titled Evaluating implementation of a dementia screening program for people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. We’re particularly interested in identifying your experiences with dementia screening, barriers and facilitators to using the dementia screener, as well as understanding why some staff may not be using it.

Who can participate in the survey?

Health and social service providers supporting adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (IDD) aged 40 years or older.

Individuals able to complete the informed consent form, who live in Canada, and can communicate in English.

A group of researchers at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) are studying a virtual education program for aging adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), family caregivers, and service providers from across Canada. This online course is designed and delivered by family caregivers, alongside medical and mental health experts specializing in the care of adults with IDD.
