Hello Community members and friends,


Heritage Skills Development Centre (HSDC) is pleased to present our free Employment preparation support and career skills training for Black youth between 18 and 35 which is starting March 12, 2024


In today’s competitive market, we understand the importance of being well-prepared and equipped with the necessary skills to succeed in securing meaningful employment opportunities. Our employment preparation program is designed to provide participants with essential tools, resources, and guidance to navigate the job search process effectively



The training will cover a wide range of topics including

  • Career goals and Job search strategies

  • Creating targeted resume and cover letter

  • Interview skills

  • Mock interview practice and tips

  • Life skills and so much more

 

Whether you are a recent graduate, looking to change your career or  enhance your employability, this program will offer valuable insight and practical tips to help you stand out to potential employers
