NACCA Family Wellness Conference September 2026

Clovis and Sherron will be speaking at this event!

Dear Community Partner,

On Saturday, September 19th, NACCA invites you to join us for our Ubuntu & Wellness: Caring for Ourselves While Caring for Others Conference, an inspiring and empowering conference created for Black parents, caregivers, and families. Rooted in the African philosophy of Ubuntu—"I am because we are", this event celebrates the strength of community while recognizing the importance of caring for ourselves as we care for others.

Through engaging keynote speakers, interactive workshops, and meaningful conversations, participants will explore strategies for balancing work, caregiving, and self-care, preventing caregiver burnout, supporting mental wellness, and navigating the education system with confidence. Connect with local community agencies offering resources and services, discover practical tools to support your family's well-being, and enjoy culturally affirming entertainment that celebrates Black joy, resilience, and community.

Whether you are raising children, supporting loved ones, or caring for multiple generations, this conference offers a welcoming space to learn, connect, and leave feeling informed, inspired, and supported.
